Linking to an NCSoft Master Account - Guild Wars Forums

Hey guys, a friend of mine wants to know how he can link his GW account to his NCSoft master account without the access keys? Cause he has all the information besides his current account password and the access keys, we're not sure what to do. We tried a reset password but it never reached his e-mail address for some reason. Thanks for the help everyone.

EDIT: Just realized that GW e-mails may not be as instant as every other companies reset a password emails so this may not even be an issue. But help is appreciated incase the password never comes.

i didn't think you had to use the account keys? pretty sure you just create a playNC account, then link it to your Guild wars account via the GW client?

It won't be easy without the access keys as Support can't be sure that your friend is not hacking an account. But usually if you can give character names, approximate purchase and character creation dates, you have a chance.

You do not need access keys at least you did not when I linked my accounts. I wanted the extra storage panes and all I had to do was buy GW:EN (I think) through the online store, which linked them up. You do need your acct. login/pass from GW though, but yeah kind of funny that you can link the account with just that info. Maybe things have changed since though.
